I grew up in Chicago, and today my bears go up vs. the colts. Personally, from an NFL persective, I'd take the colts. The bears beat the seahawks barely and got the saints on their bad day. The colts have done more to prove they're the better team. That said, bears are very capable of pulling off the upset.
Looking ahead to fantasy bases, i don't understand all the hype about JOSE REYES. I've seen him drafted as high as #2 overall, which i think is a blunder, no matter how much you love him. Yes, he had a breakout year last year and yes, he is the envy of many managers for his stolen bases, but he's done it for only ONE YEAR, people! I'd take a-rod or vlad before him anyday.
CARL CRAWFORD is on my target list. The guy's a man-child.
Bounce-back pitcher of the year? RICH HARDEN. I say he actually stays healthy all year.
Back to basketball: RON ARTEST is thriving on the kings. He's become a top offensive option for them and locks up opponent scorers like he did vs. carmelo last night. He was all over him like a cheap suit.
GERALD WALLACE is rewarding owners for their patience with some monster games the past week or so. I tried to buy low on this guy a couple months ago but lost faith w/ some of his injuries. Shoulda anticipated this. He and JOSH SMITH are freaks.
JERMAINE O'NEAL is putting together a fine year. Not only is he on the new NIKE commercial, he's blocked at least a shot in all of his games he's played in. And averages 3 blks a game. That's pretty sick. And also watch out for DANNY GRANGER on that team. Boy is picking up his play and could become the next JOSH HOWARD/ poor man's SHAWM MARION. What i mean is their stats are similar w/ 1.0+ threes, good rebs, 1.0 blks, 1. 0 stls. That's impressive.
This place will go nuts if the bears win tonight. My prediction is they'll get close but no cigar and the '85 bears remain the legacy that they are now. That's all i got.
