I'm BACK!

Alright boys, i'm back after a brief hiatus, i imagine the weekends will be difficult for me to keep up w/ this blog just cuz that's my relaxing time and i go home to my dad's internet-less apartment back in Darien some weekends ( like this coming one), but anyway, lotsa stuff to catch up on.

Paul Pierce is back. Then he went back to being injured. This time he should be ok, but he'll prolly sit out til the All-Star Break. That's the thing about this fantasy season, a LOT of fantasy stars have occured freak injuries. And granted, injuries are a part of the game, but this season there's been a lotta injuries to playas who don't normally get hurt or are labeled as "injury-prone," per se. Like you KNOW that at some point in the season brevin knight, marcus camby, baron davis ( b-diddy), and tracy mcgrady are gonna sit out games at one point or another, so you gotta live with that after you draft them, you have to anticipate it. But tough, freak injuries are hard to recover from cuz u don't see them coming- like the michael redd injury, the rashard lewis, the yao ming( to an extent), and some others.

Speaking of injuries, the Answer is sitting out a lot nowadays, and Steve Blake is an EXCELLENT source of assists, although it might be too late to pick him up now cuz there's prolly only one more game he starts, then AI comes back. But you never know, that thing seems to be a nagging injury. It IS AI, though, and if you've ever seen the commercial u know he always bounces back. Denver's strugglin' tho, need to pick it up just to make the playoffs.

I'm absolutely in love w/ Jason Kapono right now.

A guy who i think is doing the Amber Brkich survivor impression of flying under the radar is Ricky Davis. He hit a game-winning bucket against his former mates last night, but also he's the 2nd scoring option in Minnesota and plays a LOT..........he's always averaged 15+ points w/ good %'s and is also padding rebs and assists to that. Get him for the stretch run cuz Minnesota is in a battle for the playoffs.

The B-diddy injury allows for opportunities in Golden State. So much fantasy potential spreadin' around between ellis, harrington, barnes, biedrins, o man. I think harrington's the big winner here. Kid was doing nothing in indiana and now is in a system that he liiiiiiiiikes.

Rumor has it J-kidd's going to LA. O boy would that be huge for the lakers. Dunno how it'll affect kobe/j-kidd's numbers tho, i know for sure it'd lower lamar's numbers. And smush's. Heh.
Andre Iguodala is SO sick.

Chris Webber must like the home cookin' in detroit. He's actually fantasy relevant again and coupled with chris wilcox's big effort sunday night they beat me in an NBA.com league. He's one of the players i've never owned in my life but i guess he has new life.

Another player i've never owned is one manu ginoblli. I read that he's being relegated to the bench now in favor of BRENT BARRY? he might get around the same number of minutes, and he'll get more scoring opportunities w/ the 2nd unit, but still, on a personal level i'd feel gypped.

Tyson Chandler = a beast. He's quietly putting together an excellent season. I'm wondering if the bulls woulda just been better off keeping him and using the ben wallace money for another big-timer. Cuz Chandler is like a Dwight Howard right now w/o the scoring, which is still a lot.

Alright.
Fantasize on, Robert Yan
