Day After

Quick Quiz: Out of the following NBA players, which one is averaging the most points per game this season? Tim Duncan, Jermaine O'Neal, Caron Bulter, Steve Nash, Amare Stoudamire, Chauncey Billups? If you guessed my man Caron Butler, you'd be absolutely, 100%, brand-smacking, right as a groundhog on Groundhog Day. ( Sorry, couldn't think of anything else). But seriously, Butler has ascended into super-stardom and besides his points are his steals, rebs, and great %'s to boot. This guy works like a maniac and is all over the court complementing Gilbert, a.k.a. Hibachi. What I really like about butler is his ability to knock down charities at an 87% clip, and he also makes about 5 of those per game, so it makes a big dent for % leagues. Love the guy.

I have a 3-for-1 deal on the table, me giving mike miller for shane battier, delonte west, AND andris beidrins. I normally never like the 3 in 3-for-one deals and always want to get the best player in a deal, but this one seems tempting because as much as i pimped miller just a while ago w/ his 3.0 threes per game, he doesn't do THAT much otherwise, especially on defense. Battier is quietly having a fine season in not turning the ball over and contributing a little in every category ( he actually averages 2.0 long rangers per game, not too shabby), beidrins is having a career season, and west heated up after his injury. This will be a tough call cuz in this league i'm 2nd and the guy offering is 1st, so this could be the season right here.

May Samuel Dalembert continue his Haitian Domination.

A lotta folks pissed about the bears game last night, won't even talk about it. I personally thought it was a good game even w/ all the turnovers cuz it was a wet field, the colts were just a better team like i said and capitalized on some key plays. C'mon, people, get over, it, bears coulda lost at home to seattle 3 weeks ago and really got people mad. Bears really had a fine season if you think about it.

Had a very busy day today otherwise, this guy from University of Toronto came to talk for Asian American Studies class and was VERY articulate and actually made one of my most eschewed subjects, poetry, kinda interesting. Not to mention there was some fairly good chinese food at the cultural center.
Trying to find an internship. See, my thing is, even if i got one i would prolly just do the summer camp job i had last year cuz i enjoyed it so much and promised the kids i'd be back this summer....... so there's sort of a conflict of interest there. Conflict being my parents want me to get an internship and consider my camp job a last resort. Will have to sort this out somehow.

Alright. Fantasize on, y'all.
Robert Yan.
