Sunday football action

Last game of the regular season, Week 14.........watching Back to the Future 2, after Back to the Future 1 last night, kinda confused by the premise, never watched this movie as a kid, heard all about it, been on the ride at Universal Studios, but never saw it. Huh. Gotta catch up. Right now Marty is seeing his father George McFly's gravestone after finding out he'd died 12 years ago. This is interesting. Too bad it's finals week and i can't watch it all the way through. Commitments, man.

Anyway, some good games going on in NFL, not nearly as intriguing as the Pittsburgh- New England game later on. Remember, the bears- redskins game was on thursday, so that's done. Not exactly a fantasy feast in that game, rex grossman got hurt and walked off and jason campbell got carted off on a stretcher, and nobody else really did that much, maybe clinton portis put up like 80 yards and a TD, he always runs well against the bears.

Checkin' some o' the action around the league, the texans are putting one on the bucs, i guess bucs thought they were just gonna coast thru the rest of the season and got caught nappin'. Plus they're a little banged up, with Luke McCown starting instead of Jeff Garcia, but i mean, the texans were hurt too w/ sage rosenfels starting. O well. Andre Johnson looks back on track w/ a TD to go along with 82 yards, i'm glad i was patient on him, he looks like he's ready to contribute to a championship team. ( REmember, after this week, every single game is HUGE cuz it decides playoff games, it's u win or u go home time.

You read it here first, i said after cadillac williams got hurt ( or even before that) that earnest graham ran hard in his place, and lookee here, earnest graham is having a fine season after his backups got hurt too. Ride him for the last couple weeks.

Donovan McNabb came back today........lookin' alright, i suppose, but so far in a losing effort, eagles down 13-10 to the giants at home. Giants won a HUGE game against the bears last week, but they're not out of the woods yet. Gotta go and clinch that playoff spot for themselves. Plaxico Burress doing just that, getting 105 yds, 1 TD.

Gosh, Brian Westbrook is just a monster this year and i don't own him at all. He's dead to me. Lol. Man that sucks. Greg Jennings is a monster. 100 yds, 1 TD today. lemme rephrase that. He's a touchdown monster. That packer team is really good, it'd a fine story for the NFL if they won the Super Bowl this season and Brett Favre just retired on the spot........kinda like a jerome-bettis type exit.

San Diego getting stifled by Tennessee. Man that team is frustrating. I'm talking about San Diego. No consistency. It's hard to tell what's wron w/ that team, just that they do not bring the same energy day in and day out. Philip Rivers is just like a lost child out there right now. Tomlinson doing the best he can with 95 yds, but i'd bet that he was stifled when kyle van de bosch and that defense put 8 in the box.
